Choose which tools the assistant can use
You can now control which individual tools inside a tool set are available to the assistant — not only whether the whole tool set is enabled.
On each tool’s settings page, open Available tools and pick one of:
- All tools — expose every function (default)
- Only selected tools — allowlist specific tools
- All except selected tools — expose everything except the ones you exclude
This works for both built-in integrations and MCP servers. If an MCP server stops offering a tool you previously selected, that name stays in your list with a warning so you can clean it up after rediscovery.
