The bell now shows what you were notified about
Until now the bell in the top bar held two of your notification checkboxes, and the alerts themselves were only ever a notification that appeared and vanished. Look away for a minute and it was gone.
Open the bell and you now see the alerts this browser received, newest first: which reason fired — Waiting for a reply or Needs follow-up — when it arrived, and which conversation it was about. Click a row to open that conversation.
The list is per browser and holds the last 20 alerts. It survives a reload, so an alert that came in while you were in another tab is still there when you get back. Alerts that arrived while you had no tab open are not in the list — for those, the badge on the bell still counts every conversation waiting for you.
The checkboxes have moved out of the popover entirely. All of them — chime, browser, push and email, plus your registered devices — live under My settings → In this workspace → Notifications, which the popover links to at the bottom.
