Pick exactly which alerts reach you, and where
Your notification settings are now one grid: the reasons you might be alerted run down the side, and the four ways of being alerted run across the top — Chime, Browser, Push and Email. Tick a box where a reason meets the channel you want it on.
This is more than a new layout. Until now the chime, the browser notification and your phone all shared a single Notify me about choice, so they could never differ. You can now say “chime me about anything, but only buzz my phone when a conversation actually needs a person” — and email the same two reasons separately. Your existing choices carried over exactly as they were.
A dash instead of a checkbox means we do not send that reason on that channel: the Weekly summary, the Daily attention digest and Usage warnings show a dash under the first three columns because they only ever arrive by email.
Every email you can switch off now carries a link straight back to this grid, next to the unsubscribe link — useful when you would rather move an email to another channel than stop it.
Open My settings → In this workspace → Notifications, or follow the settings link in the top-bar bell.
